Dear Friends,
I am proud to lead B’nai B’rith Israel, a growing organization of over 3,000 members affiliated with 100 lodges across the country. With a strong commitment to Jewish values of tzedakah and social responsibility, our community has implemented a wide range of inspiring and impactful programs over the years, stepping up also in times of national emergency to assist where needed. We are also a vibrant and empowering social network, where members meet, engage, and expand their horizons through various activities.
When I began my tenure as President of B’nai B’rith Israel in June 2023, little did I know that B’nai B’rith Israel, along with the rest of the country, would soon be facing one of the most challenging periods in the history of this nation. Immediately after the horrific October 7th attack on Israel and the subsequent war, we began to supply essential gear to our soldiers together with financial aid, clothing, and food baskets to displaced residents of south and north. Meanwhile, heartfelt messages and financial support from Bnai B’rith chapters around the world poured in, and these additional resources enabled us to increase our impact at this critical time.
Looking to the future, we are continuing many other regular social and volunteer activities while actively working to expand and rejuvenate the organization, with the goal of reaching 5,000 members across 160 lodges by 2028.
Finally, B’nai B’rith Israel is currently expanding its outreach to B’nai Brith lodges around the world, seeking to engage in dialogue and build strong ties. We are witnessing an onslaught of antisemitic and anti-Israel attacks across the globe, and these connections can be a source of unity, inspiration, and support for all sides.
