Based on a partnership agreement signed this week, BBA and B’nai B’rith Israel are launching a series of joint initiatives to strengthen cooperation and advance the traditions and values that define the global B’nai B’rith community. The programs discussed include 1) twinning between lodges of the BBA and lodges in Israel;2) implementation of joint projects supporting IDF soldiers, victims of terror, and disadvantaged communities;3) an ulpan for learning Hebrew; 4) support for olim; and 5) identifying opportunities to integrate Israelis living in Europe into local B’nai B’rith frameworks.
Solomon Bali , President of BBA said: ” Given B’nai B’rith’s long-standing legacy, twinning with our brothers and sisters in Israel is a natural step. Today, more than ever, we must stand together—not only in words, but through meaningful action. In doing so, we continue B’nai B’rith’s proud tradition of leadership and service, serving as a role model within the Jewish world and beyond.
