On September 7, 2025, in the presence of Mayor or Beer Sheva Ruvik Danilovich, B’nai B’rith Israel donated Rosh Hashanah gift packages to 280 families from the city who lost their homes in the Iranian missile attacks during Operation Rising Lion. Beer Sheva was hit by several missiles that struck residential buildings and Soroka Hospital, causing massive damage.
The beautiful gift packages, filled with products from local businesses, also carried Rosh Hashanah greetings from B’nai B’rith. Avi Erez, Head of B’nai B’rith Israel’s Southern Council, addressed the families and expressed his hope that the coming year would bring them comfort and renewal.
