In a moving ceremony in Holon today (August 19 2025), 500 school bags with school supplies, funded through Bnai Brith’s campaign, were distributed to displaced children from the city of Holon.
Each school bag contained a special message signed by the Mayor of Holon, Shai Keinan and President of B’nai B’rith Israel,, Emanuel Cohen (see photo)
The message said
Wishing you a successful, safe, and enjoyable school year!
You’re starting school again after a difficult period away from home. It’s not simple, but you’re strong.
We believe in you.
We wish you a lot of success, good friends, new experiences, growth, dreams come true and many joyful moments.
This bag was bought with the support of B’nai B’rith Israel.

We are here with you – you are not alone.
