B’nai B’rith Israel celebrates International Women’s Day

On March 11, 2025, B’nai B’rith Israel’s female members from all over the country got together to celebrate International Women’s Day. At the start of the event, the B’nai Brith Menorah was lit, each branch in honor of a different sector of inspiring Israeli women, such as the wives of soldiers both in the regular army and the reserves, who “held the fort” for months when their husbands were at the front, the mothers, sisters and wives of the hostages , who have led a ferocious campaign for their return, female soldiers who serve in the army, women journalists and public spokeswomen who work to curb antisemitism and anti-Israel propaganda, and more.
