B’nai B’rith Israel made two donations this week to Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center. the largest and leading rehabilitation center of its kind in Israel, and one of the leading centers in the world in rehabilitation medicine.
The first gift of NIS 25,000 will support the development of an assessment tool for evaluating cognitive abilities in young children with acquired brain injuries. The second gift of NIS10,000 will enable purchase of rehabilitation equipment for wounded soldiers. Since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, over 16,000 IDF soldiers and security personnel have been wounded—many with severe, complex injuries requiring extensive rehabilitation.
Over the past year, B’nai B’rith Israel has donated almost NIS 100,000 to hospitals in Israel, including Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, and Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.
