Over the last year B’nai B’rith Israel made a significant donation to Tsa’ad Kadima (A Step Forward), a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, rehabilitation and community integration of children,adolescents and adults with Cerebral Palsy and complex motor disabilities, thus contributing to the construction of a sensory garden. A moving thank you letter received from the organization describes how the children benefit from and enjoy this project:
“What a joy it is to see how the children have embraced the sensory garden and made it an integral part of their daily lives. What began as an idea and a dream has become a vibrant, colorful space filled with joy. Together with the kindergarten teachers and educational staff, the children even built a small castle and added it to the garden, giving the space a special touch of their own. On hot summer days, they play in the garden and cool off with water activities, while at the same time developing their sensory, motor, and emotional skills, all in a safe, accessible environment adapted to their needs.”
